Pastor Mduduzi John Zulu
Lead Pastor & Co-Founder, Christ Resemblance Church

Pastor Mduduzi John Zulu is the Lead Pastor and Co-Founder of Christ Resemblance Church, a ministry born from supernatural encounters and a passionate calling to see lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.

His journey began in his youth at a local Assemblies of God church, where he served as chairperson of youth committee and occasionally preached in the main congregation when the local pastor was unavailable. 

Over the years, Pastor Zulu faced spiritual challenges and oppression, which led him to study the teachings of Apostle Guillermo Maldonado, particularly on the Supernatural Power of God. While serving as Lead Offering Steward at an evangelical church in Matsapha, he began preaching and praying for the sick, sensing a deeper calling to ministry.

This conviction prompted him to travel from Eswatini to Miami, connecting via Johannesburg and Qatar. He met an evangelist aboard the flight from Qatar to Miami, who shared a prophetic word about his ministry. At the Five-Fold School of Ministry at King Jesus Ministry in Miami, a lady originally from Vietnam also prophesied over him, and additional confirmations were received during the conference.

His calling was further confirmed through visions: first, a small cross of Jesus Christ appearing in the sky in Miami Beach, followed by two powerful visions received at home in Eswatini, in which he saw the planet Earth from a distance as if in space, with a huge golden cross placed on it—clear confirmations of God’s guidance and his global calling in ministry.

Following these confirmations, he devoted himself to evangelistic ministry, reaching out to communities in the streets and homes of Manzini, Matsapha, and Mbabane in Eswatini with the message of Jesus Christ. These early years of outreach laid a solid foundation, fueled by a heart for souls and a vision to reach communities with the message of the cross.

Pastor Zulu’s preaching ministry is marked by sensitivity to the Spirit, with gifts including Word of Knowledge and Discernment. God uses these gifts to bring healing and deliverance to those in need, and to sense the spiritual atmosphere—recognizing His presence, the absence of His presence, or areas affected by spiritual oppression.

He now serves as Lead Pastor at Christ Resemblance Church, faithfully preaching the Word of God, shepherding the congregation, and seeing the spiritual gifts operate in ministry. The church was named Christ Resemblance to reflect its heart to raise believers who reflect the character, nature, and love of Jesus Christ.

He leads with prayer, the Word of God, and clear vision—committed to sound doctrine and Spirit-led leadership. Together with his wife, who co-labours alongside him, they embody unity, honour, and shared service.
